50 Day Countdown - Where South Carolina Stands Thus Far

South Carolina has voted Republican in every presidential election since 1992.  The majority of South Carolina's elected officials are Republican, and the GOP's have had an advantage here from the beginning of the campaigns.  Current South Carolina polls show McCain at 53%, Obama 40%.  This state is strong McCain, and despite Obama's big win in the SC Democratic primaries, it will take a miracle for Dems to win over this state.
